Hire Performance Power BI Dashboard

CLL is one of NZ’s biggest brands in foundation construction and ground improvement. CLL has a fleet of fixed-mast and pendulum excavators and provides piling and ground improvement solutions.

During our initial discussion with the Operations and Finance GM, they indicated their vision of using Power BI for reporting and analytical needs. They were using a variety of systems for sales, operations and finance which they wanted to connect to Power BI to provide a 360 view of the Business.

The initial ask was to develop dashboards to provide insights into the performance of Hire Business.

Solution

Our plan to develop the solution was first to perform discovery on the data provided by their operational system. Understanding the Business logic and data complexities provided a good foundation for building the data pipelines and dashboard.

Outcomes

• Developed an interactive Power BI Dashboard which generated insights around Hire performance

• Identified missing data points at scale to improve data entry hygiene

• Automated data pipelines to remove any manual data efforts

• Provided ongoing support and maintenance
